TREASON: Obama Violates Logan Act

The Logan Act:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

Barack Obama violated this act by pressing Iraqi government officials, during his visit there in July, to delay reaching an agreement with the official representatives of the United States Government on the withdrawal of military forces from Iraq.

This is an act of treason.  Obama is not an offical representative of the United States in these negotiations and he has absolutely no legal basis on which to fall back for this usurpation of the right of the President and his representatives to bring these talks to a fruitful conclusion.

Original Amir Taheri Report here.

Obama inadvertantly confirms Taheri’s report here.

Taheri responds to Obama Team lame response here.

Obama thugs threaten Amir Taheri here.

The thugs of the left expect to break the law with impunity as the mainstream media will just ignore anything that threatens to dull the patina of their Obama messiah.  Liberal Fascists, indeed.
