Barack Obama: Racist in Chief – Updated 8/02/098

On Election Day I wrote about the intimidation of voters by the New Black Panther Party.

These thugs blatantly paraded in front of a polling place with a nightstick,  intimidated voters, and it was captured on film.

Open and shut case, right?  Not in the new racist order of Barack Obama!

Today the Washington Times reveals the maneuverings of the Obama political appointees who made the decision to not pursue a case the Department of Justice had Already Won!

Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice Department, was consulted and ultimately approved a decision in May to reverse course and drop a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party of intimidating voters in Philadelphia during November’s election, according to interviews.

Pirelli, Thomas J 2

The department’s career lawyers in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division who pursued the complaint for five months had recommended that Justice seek sanctions against the party and three of its members after the government had already won a default judgment in federal court against the men.

Front-line lawyers were in the final stages of completing that work when they were unexpectedly told by their superiors in late April to seek a delay after a meeting between political appointees and career supervisors, according to federal records and interviews.

So, who is Thomas J. Perelli?

Why, none other than a former classmate of Barack Obama!  He also was a fund raising bundler who collected more than half a million dollars for the Obama campaign.  A regular FOOboy!

At Harvard, Butts was moot court partners with Tom Perrelli, who first met Obama at the dinner party and served as his managing editor on the Harvard Law Review. Perrelli, a Washington lawyer who had never been a fundraiser, would go on to collect more than $500,000 for Obama’s presidential campaign. He is now part of the Department of Justice transition team. CBS News

The delay was ordered by then-acting Assistant Attorney General Loretta King after she discussed with Mr. Perrelli concerns about the case during one of their regular review meetings, according to the interviews.

Ms. King, a career senior executive service official, had been named by President Obama in January to temporarily fill the vacant political position of assistant attorney general for civil rights while a permanent choice could be made.

She and other career supervisors ultimately recommended dropping the case against two of the men and the party and seeking a restraining order against the one man who wielded a nightstick at the Philadelphia polling place. Mr. Perrelli approved that plan, officials said.

Even the NAACP is concerned about this blatant tacit approval of voter intimidation:

Kristen Clarke, director of political participation at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in Washington, however, confirmed to The Times that she talked about the case with lawyers at the Justice Department and shared copies of the complaint with several persons…

She said the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has consistently argued that the department should bring more voter intimidation cases, adding that it was “disconcerting that it did not do so.

Here is a link to the letter from the United States Civil Rights Commission requesting information from the Department of Justice on this action.

More on this later.

From so many angles Obama is connected to the religion of racism. I have been posting on this several times a day because it’s high time we start talking about people like Gates who scream racism in an attempt to inflict what Shelby Steele calls “White Guilt.”

On this post http://www.thoughtsongod.com/?p=5063 I have links to all my articles including videos of Shelby telling it like it is. Check out “the religion of racism” link. Great stuff, and he’s black! It’s the first link under the video. Keep up the good work!

Uh, hate to rain on you right wingers’ parade, but now the that the FACTS are coming out, Crowley & the Cambridge Police Dept are looking like a bunch of idiots !! The lady who called 911, Lucia Whalen, specifically told the 911 operator there “were two suitcases on the porch” — hardly sounds like a break-in, does it ?? Nothing about “backpacks”, Crowley LIED about that — so what else did he lie about ?? Seeing its lead story turn into a dung pile, Fox “News” has quickly abandoned it, trolling the bottom elsewhere for ANY excuse to divert the national attention away from serious issues like single payer health care.

    • Ahole says:

I hate to rain on your freekin parade. But this is the kind of reaction most all blacks give when questioned or arrested by police. I suppose oj simpson is innocent of all his crimes including murder??? Ever since obama got into office I have seen a huge difference in the attitudes of blacks and it is not for the good. Obama is not presidential matterial, he manipulated his way into office. The black community needs to quit playing the race card, it is the same old song and dance, and I dont dance. I am tired of listening to your alls crap so I say shut up!!!

      • Truth hurts says:

Oh so sorry massa, we colored folk need to know our place and learn not to ever question the white man. Them damn uppity negroes are making it bad for all us that know our place. What kind of song and dance would you like massa?

That is so petty and off the point it’s sad. No matter what, Gates started screaming racism because that is what he, and others like him do. He is a member of what Shelby Steele calls “The Religion of Racism.”

Why is it “right wing” to add this to the conversation of racism? Not just in this instance, but as a real social problem. The play between “Black power” and “White guilt” is real. As real as any white racist.

Why is this Black Power racism justified, rationalized, and hero-ized?

  5. Klive says:

How many of you people are Black? How may of you people are cops? I am both and I have been racially profiled by police officers since I was in high school. I have studied the Gates incident since it first became public and I have concluded that the officer did not explain why he was there to begin with. I have been to many similar calls, where a neighbor thought someone was breaking into a house and it turned out to be the homeowner. When you first see the subject that is supposed to breaking into the house and they don’t run. That usually means that they live there. Then all you have to do is explain why you are there. After that the situation should be resolved. Even if the homeowner gets upset as a professional you have to be bigger than that. If the homeowner insists on my name and badge number I give it to them and move on. I ahve been called all kinds of names by suspects, perps, victims and bystanders. As a police officer you have to thicker skin than that. As far as President Obama is concerned. If a friend of yours called you and told you something wouldn’t you believe your friend over the word of a stranger? But it doesn’t make a difference what I or anyone else says. Most of you don’t care about the truth anyway.

    Klive —
EXCELLENT POST — of ALL the Posts & Comments I’ve seen over the past week on the Gates case nationwide, yours is the absolute best. Well done — I plan to send it nationwide, you are an inspiration !! And to think, you posted on a right wing blog !! Who would have thought !!!

Obama has been a racist forever. The Philly story, the Cambridge story and his love for the racist Rev. Wright. The people elected because he called all white people racists for effect.

  8. madcap says:

“How many of you people are Black? How may of you people are cops? I am both”

That’s good but, I’m not talking about this incident in particular but of a larger “attitude” of many black people. What Crowley should have or should have not done is not the issue. Why is Gates given a pass? And not just Gates, but an entire mob of like thinking people.

You did not mention one thing about how Gates was wrong. I agree with Steele, black power and white guilty do more to keep black people down than any other factor. It’s sad…

I wouldn’t expect anything less of Obama. Obama, The same guy who is buddies with “That Racist” Rev.Wright and that racist ass church, The same church Obama attend for 20 years!! . “OH Yeah” Obama never heard Rev.Wrights hate speech.
Its funny, Obama’s Fathers side left him as a baby. Obama grew up looking different than the majority and grew up to hate His Moms side that took care of him since he was born.
