Barack Obama Stuck on Stupid re: Terrorism

Barack Obama in an interview today with Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s “Situation Room” demonstrated how unprepared he is to deal with terrorism or any other serious foreign policy challenge.

His plan for capturing Osama bin Laden includes such pre 9/11 thinking as stating he will use the law-enforcement model for dealing with the terrorist leader if he is captured:

We will kill him or capture him, try him, apply the death penalty to him where it is necessary.

And where, exactly, wouldn’t it be necessary, Mr. Obama?

This is the model that brought us 9/11. Sandy Gorelick’s brick wall between intelligence and law enforcement prior to 9/11 combined with a lack of seriousness about terrorism in the Clinton Administration set us up for the worst attack in American history. We have illegal combatants, terrorists, being held in Guantanamo Bay and friends of Barack Obama have been very active in the fight to grant them habeus corpus and get them released to commit more terrorist acts.

On the subject of Iran, Obama is still thinking in terms of diplomacy and sanctions:

And we have to both apply much tougher diplomacy and sanctions, potentially, if they do not move in a better direction.

If Obama hadn’t been so busy trying to undermine our troops by cutting off funding and such he might have been aware that for five years we have tried the diplomatic approach, backing the european nations who took the lead in negotiations. The europeans have finally given up, realizing that negotiations require the two sides to negotiate in good faith. The Iranians have never done so regardless of the inducements offered.

Furthermore, Obama was too busy vacationing in Hawaii to make a strong statement in opposition to the Russian attack on Georgia. He had to wait until John McCain took the lead and then parrot ‘Me Too’.

What is Barack going to do when any of the following events happens?

• Syria invades Lebanon (Troops are building up on the border right now).
• Russia reinvades Georgia (Russian forces remain in the two regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in numbers higher than would be required for any peacekeeping mission).
• Russia invades Ukraine.
• Iran tests a nuclear weapon.
• America suffers another terrorist attack.

Perhaps all of these are above his pay grade?

America is at war. America needs a leader who is capable and prepared to lead on day one. Barack Obama has shown he is not that leader.

Barack Obama Campaign Violates MORE Campaign Laws

The Barack Obama campaign appears to be violating more Federal Election Laws by offering donors a chance to participate in a raffles for backstage tickets for his election night party in Grant Park, Chicago.

Grey Lady Slams Sarah Palin in Fake Poll

Lashing out in despair that they may actually lose their coveted position as the Ministry of Truth in an Obama administration, the New York Times today spewed more propaganda aimed at the Hockey Mom from Alaska who has them quaking in their boots.

Failing to dig up any dirt that would stick to Sarah Palin, the media resorted to questioning her experience and capabilities to lead. Never mind that she is running for Vice President unlike Barack Obama who, with considerably less experience, is running for President. Never mind that of all four candidates in this race she is the only one with actual experience running anything other than a goverment office or a military unit.

Now the Times, in a last gasp effort, has taken to smearing her with yet another whispering campaign stating that 59% of those they and CBS (another bastion of media impartiality, HAH!) polled said that Sarah Palin is not to be vice-president. Who did they poll? They don’t say. Where did they poll? They don’t say. What was their methodology in the poll? They don’t say.

In other words they have printed yet another bald faced propaganda hit job to try and get their socialist savior elected.

Hey Pinch! Hey Keller! Guess what! We know you lie. We know you support terrorists. We know you support anything that will destroy America. We know that you will attack anything that stands for America. We know that you will rabidly attack any honest, hardworking person or politician that stands between you and your socialist nirvana.

Your credibility with anyone not on your quiche and caviar, not to mention Arugula, eating circuit has sunken faster than your stock price. Here let me remind you:

Your latest desperate attack will not convince anyone other than your remaining ten loyal readers that your poll has any veracity. One only hopes that your trauma at seeing Sarah Palin elected as Vice President ends your sniveling little careers.

I can only say I knew the Grey Lady when she wasn’t a ho!

Just Say NO to Obama Gestapo!

There is no room in America for a secret police force that enforces the whims of a public official.  Yet that is what Barack Obama is calling for.

“Loving your country shouldn’t just mean watching fireworks on the 4th of July,” he said. “Loving your country must mean accepting your responsibility to do your part to change it. If you do, your life will be richer, our country will be stronger.”…

And if we don’t accept our responsibility to change it in the manner you wish, Mr. Senator?  What then will you do?

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” he said Wednesday. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

Ah, I get it.  And the re-education camps will open shortly.  Or will we just have ditches by the sides of the road in the bitter, bible-clutching, gun-clinging, areas of America?

Just Say NO to Obama’s Gestapo ideals!  Fight for America, Fight for Freedom!  Vote for McCain Palin!

Because you don’t want to see how the rest of Obama’s change plays out!

John Hall (D-NY) Advisor Fired For Involvement in Voter Fraud

Amy Little, John Hall’s former campaign manager and consultant in his current campaign against challenger Marine Corps Veteran Kieran Lalor, was fired by the Hall campaign yesterday. She registered and voted with an absentee ballot in Ohio for Barack Obama while she is a long time resident of New York. I congratulate John Hall for firing her after this was revealed, but one has to wonder; What did he know? and When did he know it?

Warren Throckmorton, a blogger from Pennsylvania broke the story:

I suppose this might be the fourth dot. The Franklin County Board of Elections confirmed tonight that Ms. Little did cast a vote In Ohio by absentee ballot.

There are three dots to connect in this post.

Dot one – Amy Little, former campaign manager for Rep. John Hall (D-NY) and current advisor, resides in New Paltz, New York (this is near Poughkeepsie).

Dot two – Ms. Little is in Columbus, Ohio (1979 N. Fourth Street to be exact) co-organizing Vote Today Ohio, a pro-Obama get out the vote group.

Dot three – Ms. Little registered to vote in Ohio even though she is a resident of New Paltz, NY.

Obama Speechwriter defects!

Wendy Button has been around Washington.  She’s written for many Democrats over the years, some good, some bad, but not until now has she felt the need to defect.  Not only to defect, but to cross the divide and support John McCain and Sarah Palin!  This is one brave woman!

One can assume the Truth Squads will be all over her in 3..2..1..

Since I started writing speeches more than ten years ago, I have always believed in the Democratic Party. Not anymore. Not after the election of 2008. This transformation has been swift and complete and since I’m a woman writing in the election of 2008, “very emotional.”…

The final straw came the other week when Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a Joe the Plumber) asked a question about higher taxes for small businesses. Instead of celebrating his aspirations, they were mocked. He wasn’t “a real plumber,” and “They’re fighting for Joe the Hedge-Fund manager,” and the patronizing, “I’ve got nothing but love for Joe the Plumber.”…

I can no longer justify what this party has done and can’t dismiss the treatment of women and working people as just part of the new kind of politics. It’s wrong and someone has to say that. And also say that the Democratic Party’s talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he’s President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn’t mean they’re true. After all, he is the only one who’s worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges….
